LOS DÉTROIT HAS LANDED!

The debut EP from this fine outfit from L.A. has finally arrived. Super excited about this release. Bringing back a sound first heard in the early 4AD era, but with updated 21st century production aesthetic that's big and lush. Not to miss! Get it on Amazon, iTunes, Emusic or direct from the group HERE.

SWARTZ ET AND THE NARROWS POPPING UP ON END OF YEAR BEST LISTS
Steve and Tom are rounding out the year in good fashion. The Narrows album There's a Ghost In Me and Swartz et's album Respire popped up on the Headphonaught's list of most notable releases of 2012. Also, Respire made its way on the end of year best of list from Stadiums & Shrines.

THERE'S A GHOST IN ME FROM THE NARROWS NOW AVAILABLE
The solo debut from Detroit based musician/composer Tom Currie is out everywhere. Known for his expansive and cinematic contributions to the bands Au Revoir Borealis, Red Iron Orchestra and I the Magician, his first leap into the solo pool makes quite a splash. Available online at Amazon, iTunes and Emusic.

RESPIRE FROM SWARTZ ET OUT EVERYWHERE
The follow up to the well received Nighttide album is here. Respire is an album built around recordings of rhythmic and meditative breathing. These elements are knit together with guitars, piano, breathing and heartbeats to create a work that is delicate, intimate and, at times, visceral in nature. Available worldwide via Beatport, Amazon, iTunes and Emusic.

NORTH TO GLORY FULL LENGTH, SILENCER, OUT NOW!
We're super excited to announce the fantastic new record from Michigan's North To Glory. Recorded in the band’s The Invisible Lab studio and mixed by Ryan Freeland (Aimee Mann, Son Volt). It's dark. It's lush. It's sweeping. It's grand. It's smooth. It's jagged. It's dense. And it's perfect to wrap around you on long lonely nights. The album is titled Silencer and is available worldwide via Amazon, iTunes, Emusic, Virgin (France), Napster, Verizon Mobile and more.

NIGHTTIDE IS HERE!
The ambient debut Nighttide from Steve Swartz is now available. The record contains guitar-based drones, textures and soundscapes perfect for late nights and quiet weekends. More info can be found HERE. You can get it on our store, iTunes, Emusic and Amazon. You can also get the album directly form Steve in lossless and high resolution mp3 formats created from the final 24 bit studio masters HERE.

Videos have been created for each track on the album. You can find them all at THIS SITE.

FOR WISHES

The lads are gearing up to record the follow up to I Will Burn Your Winter. No other details are known beyond that. Updates are going to be posted at their web site.

AU REVOIR BOREALIS
The collective have begun thinking about the next record, project, body of work or whatever you want to call it. No projected recording dates have been lined up, but it's good to know that there is activity. However, we can report that mixing has commenced on the EP that was originally intended to be the follow up to their Tienken release. No release date for that one yet. Stay tuned.

STUDIO
The recording studio has had a busy year. Currently, an artist named Jimmy Savage is working on a full length album. Silent Violet has been in recording demos for a future release. Steve Swartz has been sorting out tracks for a possible Au Revoir Borealis EP. The studio has also been involved with soundtrack work for the new Breakthrough Medicine documentary series out of Miami, Florida.

DEMOS & SKETCHES CD
We have some left over copies of the Demos & Sketches CDs from the presale we did back in September. As much as we had hoped to unload them all at that time, this actually works to the benefit of those who didn't get a chance to preorder the new album. The remaining copies are available in the store at AuRevoirBorealis.com to anyone who wants one for themselves or for a friend for Christmas. Once these are gone, they're gone. So get one if you want one.
